- Description
Our Everyday Bag is handmade with vegan leather and spectacular chains, combining every detail like its strap and brass clasps, which you can interchange to wear it around your waist, as a crossbody or handbag, adjusting to your outfit either day or night.
It fits your cell phone, your keys, your makeup and obviously your antibacterial gel. The outside compartments are small but very useful, you can use them for your lip balm, your lipstick or your coins. All of our Everyday Bags have a pop of color on the inside, and can be purchased with their opulent and striking brass chain, or in their minimalist version with a leather handle.
This piece will become your go-to versatile choice for all occasions, labeled in trend and sophistication. Each of the bags in the collection is handmade in Mexico, an artisanal process that requires 150 steps and takes about 400 minutes, everything we do is with love so that it reaches you and you can enjoy every moment. Our brass chain has a bath that can get marked by the contact and movement of the links. We do not recommend using the chain in areas of high humidity such as the beach because the bath can oxidize. In the process of assembling your bag, each of the decorative folds is handmade by our artisans. Therefore, they may present some variations or slight wrinkles at the level of the folds.

- About our Cactus Leather
Cactus leather is a real alternative to animal leather, made with a 100% natural and abundant resource in our country, the nopal cactus. This skin is produced from organic nopal grown in Zacatecas, in a sustainable way without toxic chemicals, phthalates and PVC.
To produce this material, these organically grown nopal cactus are cut, cleaned, crushed and dried in the sun for three days before processing. They are then dyed with natural dyes. The result is a certified organic, partially biodegradable vegetable leather. It lasts up to 10 years, about the same as animal skin. One of the characteristics of this leather is its matte finish and softness, which makes it look extremely similar to animal skin. Nopal skin has certifications from PETA, USDA Organic, SGS, UKAS, DAkkS and Öko-Garantie.
IMPORTANT: The properties of vegetable skin make it a more fragile material than an animal skin and due to the artisanal process with which it is made, some pieces may present small bends, scratches or slight wear. However, this reaction of the vegetable skin does not affect the durability of the product.
- Product Care
SPECIAL CARE OF PRICKLY CACTUS LEATHER
Cactus leather is a highly organic material, therefore your bag needs special care: We recommend that you avoid contact with abrasive surfaces, as cactus skin can become damaged or scratched. To keep your bag clean and looking good, use a neutral soap suds solution and remove it completely with a white cotton cloth dampened in water. All light colors require more frequent cleaning.
Do not clean your bag with solvents such as alcohol, acetone, paint thinner, bleach, oils, vinegar, waxes, silicones, armor or detergents, as these cause permanent damage to the material. Do not mark your bag with ink, as the ink may absorb into the product and cause a permanent stain. For spills such as beer, wine, juices, soft drinks, liquor, coffee, tea or chocolate, simply wipe the stain with a mild liquid shampoo-type cleaning water solution and rinse with a water-soaked cloth to completely remove the excess. Wipe up the spill as soon as possible, especially if the liquid has a strong color. Avoid putting your bag in contact with oils, grease, makeup, sunscreen or suntan oils. In case this happens, clean the stain as soon as possible with liquid soap.
Nopal skin is protected from transferring color to other materials. However, some accessories or clothing with poor colorfastness may fade and stain your bag. If this happens, clean the stain immediately with neutral soap suds and a white cotton cloth. You can also use a half-water, half-disinfectant, chlorine-free solution. Then rinse with water and blot.
SPECIAL CARE FOR VEGAN LEATHER
Vegan leather is a material that must be cared for. Here are some special recommendations for your piece: We recommend you to avoid contact with abrasive surfaces, as vegan leather can be damaged or scratched more than animal skin.
When using colored garments, make sure that they do not detach or pigment your piece with their color, because this type of stains are very difficult to remove on materials such as vegan leather. Keep in mind that a slight color transfer can occur on all leathers when rubbed, especially in humid environments and if you wear light-colored garments. - About our Vegan Leather
Vegan leather is a great animal cruelty-free and environmentally responsible alternative. It is composed of various materials, which do not react or behave in the same way as an animal skin, so there may be color variations from one batch to another. Our animal-free leathers have up to 24 times less impact on the environment than those of animal origin.
The properties of vegan leather make it a more fragile material than animal skin and due to the handcrafted process with which it is made, some pieces may present small scratches or slight wear in their folds.
The vegan leather we use has a coating made of vegetable oil, which is a natural, renewable resource and does not come from food sources. Please note that a slight color transfer may occur on all leathers when rubbed, especially in humid environments and if you are wearing light-colored garments.
